Satir developed conjoint family therapy and became famous for warmth, directness and an uncanny ability to name the process inside a family's interaction. Her questioning and self-esteem work supplied major streams of the early NLP material — the Meta Model's first exemplar alongside Perls. Her own legacy is bigger than NLP: family therapy as a field carries her imprint.
