The honest split: communication-craft applications transfer well (see our NLP for teachers page); learning-styles-based "visual/auditory/kinesthetic learners" matching failed research and should stay out of classrooms. Variety in encoding helps everyone; diagnosing and tracking students by "style" does not.
Is NLP Used in Education?
The useful parts — instructional language precision, teacher state management, multi-channel explanation — are used by good teachers everywhere, mostly without the label. The doctrines NLP is famous for (learning styles matching) are the parts education research rejects.
