What IAPCCT is
The International Association of Professional Coaches, Counselors and Therapists is a private association certifying training across NLP, coaching, hypnosis and related modalities, often in combination. Indian providers use it to certificate multi-modality programmes — NLP-plus-coaching bundles are its signature.
What its certificates attest
- Completion of an affiliated programme's stated curriculum
- Multi-modality coverage (NLP + coaching + hypnosis tracks)
- No clinical or regulatory standing anywhere — despite the word "therapists" in its name
The scope caution
The name invites the market's most harmful misunderstanding: that a certified member is a therapist. In India, clinical practice requires recognised mental-health qualifications. An IAPCCT certificate supports coaching and training work — nothing clinical. Providers who let the name blur that line are doing their students a disservice.
