NLP Course vs Workshop

Webinar, workshop, course, programme — the market uses the words interchangeably and prices them wildly differently. They are different products. Here is the honest taxonomy and how to sequence them for your goal.

The taxonomy

  • Webinar (1–3 hours): exposure. See the methodology demonstrated, meet the trainer, decide if the field interests you. Should be free or cheap
  • Workshop (a day to a weekend): guided experience of core techniques. You feel the work happen; you do not leave fluent
  • Course (weeks to months, practitioner-level): systematic training with practice design. Where capability is actually built
  • Programme (long-format, e.g. 24 weeks): spaced practice, supervision, portfolio. The deep route for people who intend to use NLP professionally

Matching format to goal

Curious about NLP: webinar first — the Stop Doing NLP session demonstrates more real methodology in ninety minutes than most brochures explain. Want a taste of change work: workshop. Building professional capability: a course with observed practice. Making NLP your trade: long-format programme with supervision and a portfolio.

The common expensive mistake: buying a programme when a workshop would have answered the question, or buying a workshop when the goal was capability all along. Sequence cheap exposure before expensive commitment.

The price logic

Webinars are free because they are funnels. Workshops price the experience. Courses and programmes price capability-building — judge them on rupees per observed practice hour, not per day of attendance. The fees page carries the full breakdown.

Frequently asked questions

Is a 2-day workshop enough to use NLP?

Enough to experience it and apply basics to yourself. Not enough for professional use — that requires the practice volume only courses and programmes provide.

Should I attend a webinar before a course?

Always, if one is available. It is the cheapest possible evaluation of a trainer's live demonstration ability — the single best predictor of course quality.
