What the certificate fee does not buy
Legal standing (none exists in India), verification by any regulator, or proof of skill. You are buying a training experience plus a private organisation's attestation. Whether that attestation is worth its markup depends on your market: corporate buyers sometimes ask for certificates; individual clients increasingly ask for demonstrated work instead.
