What you can verify about a trainer
- Live demonstration: can they show the work in real time, on real material, not just describe it? Webinars and open sessions let you check this for free
- Training history: who they trained under, roughly when, and whether their account is consistent
- Assessment standards: what a participant must do to pass, and whether anyone fails
- Class size and ratio: how many learners per trainer in practice blocks
- Their writing: does the trainer discuss NLP's limitations and evidence status, or only market outcomes?
What you cannot verify — and should discount
Trainee counts ("8,000+ practitioners trained"), country counts, and lineage badges ("certified by X") are marketing claims. Lineage in particular proves exposure, not competence — plenty of poorly skilled trainers hold famous lineages, and some excellent trainers hold none. Discount all of it toward zero and weigh what you can see.
The "best trainer in India" question
It is the wrong question, and any page that confidently answers it is answering something else. The right question is fit: does this trainer demonstrate well, assess honestly, teach at a class size where you get corrected, and describe the field truthfully?
